Total sales for open-world samurai game Ghost of Tsushima have crossed 9.73 million units as of July 3, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Sucker Punch Productions announced.
The game’s sales were last reported to have surpassed eight million units on January 4. Ghost of Tsushima first launched for PlayStation 4 on July 17, 2020. It was followed by Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut for PS5 and PS4 on August 20, 2021.
Sucker Punch Productions has revealed that over the last two years, almost 10 million copies have been sold, and 91.4 million missions have been played in Legends Mode, the highly underrated multiplayer mode. 998.5 million Standoffs and 40.8 million Duels have taken place, players have visited 94.76 million hot springs and have spent 6437.4 years on horseback. Over 78 million in-game photos have been taken and most importantly, 75.18 million foxes have been petted.
