Cyberpunk 2077 expansion ‘Phantom Liberty’ announced, ‘Edgerunners’ update details available

CD Projekt RED has announced Cyberpunk 2077 expansion “Phantom Liberty.” It will launch in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, and Stadia.



“Phantom Liberty” will introduce a new cast of characters, who protagonist V will come into contact with inside a new location within Night City. Hollywood star Keanu Reeves will also reprise his role as rebel rocker Johnny Silverhand.


CD Projekt RED also shared more information about Cyberpunk 2077‘s “Edgerunners” update, or Patch 1.6, which introduces equipable items from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime to the game, including the jacket worn by anime protagonist David Martinez and the shotgun used by another character from the show.


The update also adds various new features to the game including a clothing transmog system, cross-platform progression, playable Roach Race minigame arcade cabinets, and more. It will also be the last update supported by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
